Carmel High School Schedule - 2026-2027

Posted Date: 07/20/26 (11:00 AM)

Dear CHS Parents/Guardians & Students:

I hope that you are enjoying a great summer break!

Over the past several years, Carmel High School Administration has been considering how we can use our master schedule to best support our student's health and well-being, deepen student engagement and learning, promote academic success and rigor, and create a more connected school community.

As has previously been shared, Carmel High School is transitioning to a Block/Rotation Schedule beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.

The key components of the Carmel High School Block/Rotation Schedule will be:

  • Later Start Time - to support student health and wellness
  • Longer Instructional Periods - to provide the opportunity to dive deeper into curriculum, focus and fully engage in learning
  • Community Lunch - giving students the chance to connect with friends, utilize the gymnasium, access clubs & activities, and build connection through school-wide events
  • Rotating Schedule - allowing for less daily transitions for students and provides a varied learning experience
