Course Description
Social 12 is a full year course in which we will be examining economics and law. The first portion of the course will exam how economic systems function and how it impacts people on a daily basis. We will approach the topic from a very practical point of view the impact of wages, taxes, balancing bank accounts and saving. The second portion of the course will examine the criminal justice system in the United States and the world. Throughout this part of the course you will gain valuable information about the American and International criminal justice systems that will help you break Hollywood portrayals of the law and become aware of your own rights as citizens.
